Deadline: June 12, 2026

Compute + Inference Markets Hackathon is live.

Build a compute market or an inference market that lets anyone trade AI infrastructure.

Read the rules
00d : 00h : 00m : 00s

Compute and inference are markets. Build the exchange.

AI infrastructure should be traded like a financial asset that can be bought and sold digitally at market rates. For compute, think compute.exchange. For inference, think an open market where buyers purchase discounted model calls and sellers monetize surplus serving capacity. Want compute or inference? Purchase the token. Have capacity? Sell the token. Under the hood, this could work like a stablecoin, with whitelisted mint/redeem to ensure only verified providers can supply capacity and only verified purchasers can redeem it. Like stablecoins and futures, most traders would never take delivery, but they could participate in the market. Have a better solution? Build it. The core idea is simple: AI infrastructure should be tradeable, instantly and cheaply.

THE PRIZE

Deadline: June 12, 2026

Win a Mac Mini.

We are looking for applications that are well-executed, actually work, and make compute or inference tradeable.

Mac Mini prize

The top project takes home a Mac Mini to keep building on.

VC introductions

Direct intros to the funds backing the world's biggest crypto and tech founders.

AND EVERY BUILDER WALKS AWAY WITH

Forever creator fees

~1% of all trading volume on your token keeps flowing to you. Even after the hackathon ends.

Accelerator fast-track

Top performers get scouted directly into the Kickstart accelerator after the hackathon.

THE TRACKS

Pick a market. Make it liquid.

Choose one of two tracks. The winning projects should make supply, demand, pricing, and settlement obvious enough that real builders would know how to use the market.

Compute market

Build the market layer for GPU compute: a place where verified supply can be tokenised, priced, bought, sold, and redeemed when delivery matters.

Builder brief

Turn committed compute capacity into a tradeable market. Buyers should be able to discover capacity and get exposure or access. Providers should be able to sell capacity into the market.

What to ship

  • A market that allows anyone to trade compute.
  • Provider onboarding, whitelisted mint/redeem, pricing, order flow, or usage redemption.
  • A demo that shows how buyers discover capacity and providers sell it into the market.

Market primitives

  • Supply: verified GPU providers
  • Demand: AI labs, agents, and builders
  • Price: market rate for capacity

Inference market

Build an open market for model inference: buyers purchase discounted model calls, while sellers monetize surplus inference capacity.

Builder brief

Think an OpenAI-compatible chat completions endpoint where the API key hits a market: model selection, quote discovery, routing, streaming responses, reliability, and settlement to capacity sellers.

What to ship

  • A marketplace, router, exchange, or token that makes inference capacity buyable and sellable.
  • Seller flows for listing surplus inference from model endpoints, GPU clusters, or reserved provider capacity.
  • Buyer flows for selecting models, comparing price, latency, and reliability, then routing requests.

Market primitives

  • Supply: surplus inference capacity
  • Demand: apps, agents, evals, and batch jobs
  • Price: discounted tokens, credits, or per-request markets

ELIGIBILITY

How to enter

Do these by June 12 with either a compute market or inference market to be in the running for the Mac Mini.

01

Launch on Kickstart

Your market project must have a token live on Kickstart.

02

Get skin in the game

Hold meaningful supply throughout the hackathon (ideally locking 10-50%). No selling or trading your own tokens.

03

Build one market track

Ship a working application, demo, router, exchange, or tool that makes compute or inference tradeable, instantly and cheaply.

04

Follow the founder guide

Read the guide and follow the steps before you launch.

05

Quote-RT the announcement

Quote-retweet the hackathon announcement to declare you are in.

06

Daily updates on X. No silent days.

07

Tag @EasyA_Kickstart

Tag @EasyA_Kickstart on every post so the team can see and amplify you.

08

Project name & description

A clear, sharp description of what you're building, who it's for, and why it matters.

09

DEADLINE: JUNE 12

Make AI infrastructure tradeable.

Launch on Kickstart, build in public, and make compute or inference tradeable in real time before the June 12 deadline.

Prior hackathons

OpenClaw Hackathon 2026

AI agents, OpenClaw, Hermes, x402, and the Mac Mini prize.
